Description: This wonderful typed letter signed by Ginsberg places him squarely in the center of the Beat generation of writers/artists. He is writing to Ted Berrigan requesting confirmation that he will attend “our Kerouac Celebration ’25 Years on the Road'” and states that Robert Creeley, Michael McClure, Gregory Corso, William Burroughs, Peter Orlovsky, and Robert Frank will be attending. In manuscript at the bottom Ginsberg notes that Diane DiPrima, Lawrence Ferlinghetti and others have confirmed as well.

Written on an 11″ x 8 1/2″ sheet of Naropa Institute Stationery and dated October 26, 1981. Comes with transmittal envelope. Item #A01966
