Description: Beloved American artist Norman Rockwell (1894-1978)  signed this friendly typed letter to a Mr. Spaulding, thanking him for his “kind letter telling me of your gift of ‘The Marriage License’ print to the State of New York for ‘The Empire State Plaza’”.

Rockwell is known for his paintings that reflected scenes from everyday American life and especially for his cover illustrations for the Saturday Evening Post.

Typed on a sheet of Norman Rockwell’s personal stationery that measures: 7 ¾” x 5 ¾”. Item #A01363

Condition: Ink stain at left blank margin, mailing fold line, light wrinkling. Generally good condition with a neat, bold signature.
