Description: In a one-page typed letter signed to a Mrs. Ted M. Levine, Edward Teller discusses who has influenced him and the nature of greatness. He writes in part:
“. . . the only one who impresses me as a great man is Governor Rockefeller. . . . one is that for many years he has painstakingly made an effort to learn facts and opinions needed for the purpose of serving his country. The other is that because of his understanding and because of his background and temperament, he is fully capable of reconciling what seems opposites and helping our nation to overcome one of its most discouraging crises.” Signed, Sincerely Yours/Edward Teller
