Description: Dubsky’s loose broad strokes, in an abstract expressionist tradition, provides this figurative study with visual impact. It is signed lower left: “Dubsky 61″[?].
Mario Dubsky (1939-1985) was born in London and at an early age attended the Slade School of Fine Art. His work is held in a number of public collections including the Tate Gallery.

Condition: A tear with old tape staining at upper left edge, small tape stain at lower left corner, as well as, a 1/2″ tear at bottom edge. Lightly toned around perimeter. Even with all the above faults, a visually powerful image.
