Description: This great 1966 menu from the now shuttered Stage Deli (which closed 2012 and was two blocks from Carnegie Hall) features such items as Hymie’s Special — triple decker sandwich with tongue, hot pastrami, and chicken salami with Russian dressing and coleslaw. Joan Rivers has signed boldly next to the printed caricature of the founder/host, Max Asnas.

Joan Alexandra Molinsky, aka Joan Rivers (1933-2014), was an American comedian, actress, producer, and writer. She was the first woman to host a late night network television talk show.
