Description: This 1965/66 issue of the music magazine Bravo (vol. V, no. 2) has bound into the center the program for a Community Concert Association event. Johannesen was the featured artist performing Bach, Poulenc, Chopin, Fauré, etc. He signed prominently in the blank area of the magazine’s wraps.

Grant Johannesen (1921-2005) was an American pianist, who was a prominent interpreter of French piano music, especially Gabriel Fauré. He was director of the Cleveland Institute of Music for more than a decade.
