Description: In this spirited print, Biddle captures the mood of the carnival using traditional lithographic techniques combined with cross-hatching, more typical of etching.

George Biddle (1885-1973), an American muralist and printmaker, is most remembered for his social realism murals. He played a  significant role in establishing the WPA Federal Art Project.
