Description: Canadian American Artist Harold Kerr Eby (1889-1946) is perhaps best known for his unflinching images of war, but was also quite adept at capturing idyllic expansive landscapes. This bird’s-eye view of a snow-covered valley is an excellent example of his etching prowess. In graphite, at lower edge, he has indicated “Ed. 100” and signed: “Kerr Eby imp.”
Platemark: 10 1/4″ x 14 1/2″ on a 12″ x 18 1/2″ deckle-edge sheet of wove paper, matted to: 17 1/2″ x 21″. Item #PR00572
Condition: Toned, blank right margin is foxed, otherwise good condition.
