Wilbur L. Cross (1862-1948) was an American literary critic who served as the seventy-first governor of Connecticut from 1931 to 1939. He had edited The Yale Review for nearly thirty years.

Letter is written on an 8” x 5” sheet of The Yale Review stationery and dated January 10, 1916. Item #A01950
