Description: This spectacular photograph shows the entrance to Wallacks Theatre at Broadway and 30th Street in New York City. In January of 1915 English actor/manager Granville Barker began a repertory season at Wallacks. On May 1, 1915 he presented George Bernard Shaw’s Androcles and the Lion which was the last performance at the 30th St. theatre.

The resolution is fantastic in this photo and all the signs and posters are quite readable.

There is a blindstamp of the well-known NYC photographic firm, Pach Bros., at the lower right. Image is 7″ x 9″ on an 11″ x 14″ mount. Item #P00279

Condition: Scattered soil on the mount. The photo is clean and bright with very good contrast, and as mentioned above, great resolution.
