Description

Description: This engraved invitation to a reception at the White House is dated “February the seventh nineteen hundred and seven”. It is printed on 4 5/8″ x 5 5/8″ heavy card stock with a gold embossed eagle at the top.

Comes with the original White House envelope addressed to the invitees: “Mr. & Mrs. Watkins.” A second envelope imprinted “not transferable” contains a blue printed card which states: “Mr. & Mrs. R. H. Watkins will please present this card at the door of The White House Thursday evening February the seventh.”
