Description: This pocket-sized menu for the Tri-County Firemen’s Banquet held in Mechanicsville, NY in 1902 is encased in two thin metal plates. One rounded-corner rectangular plate has the name of the banquet in raised letters with leafy corner decorations, the other is printed with an image of a photographic collage of firemen portraits. The tin plates and the three-page menu are joined together by a circular metal rivet-like fastener at one corner which allows it to slide open like a fan. The banquet took place on August 30th, 1902 at the Park Ave. Opera House in Mechanicsville, NY and guests dined on a variety of delicacies such as: “Little Neck Clams”, “Saratoga Potatoes”, and “Croquettes a la Boeuf”. Guests were also treated to music by Clark’s Orchestra.
