Description: This iconic image by American artist Charles Schreyvogel depicts a government sanctioned buffalo hunt. It is titled in the lower margin: “U.S. Troopers Hunting Buffalo” and is printed by the American Lithographic Co. of New York. Lower left margin states: “Copyright 1900 by E. I. Du Pont de Nemours & Co.”
