Description: As Governor of the Commonwealth of Virginia, Patrick Henry signed this part-printed vellum document granting four hundred acres “lying and being in the county of Ohio, on the Ohio River”. The original seal is still intact at the left corner and Henry has signed “P. Henry” at the lower right.
