Description: Dora Ford (1885-1978), one of the siblings in the celebrated vaudeville dance troupe “The Four Fords”, signed this cheerful photograph of herself dressed as a jolly pirate. Dora Ford and her siblings, Maxie, Edwin, and Mabel, danced together until 1913. Dora and Mabel continued on to tour the United States, Canada and Europe as the “Ford Sisters” well into the 1920’s.
Photograph measures 14” x 11”. Item #A00593.
Condition: Blank margin has a ¼” closed tear and some light soil not affecting image, otherwise in very good condition and quite displayable.
