Grant. Red gilt-stamped leather over boards, all edges gilt, frontispiece portrait of Major Nicholas Stoner 287 pages, Appendix, illustrated with frontispiece and 3 plates. Covers stained, spine heavily worn, leather chipped almost completely away, corners also worn, rubbing to leather on boards, spine cocked, pages foxed/stained, frontispiece tissue torn out, still a highly readable copy that was owned and signed by Horatio Seymour.
