Size: 10″ x 6 1/2″. 15-volume set (complete). Text body is clean, and free from previous owner annotation, underlining and highlighting. 15-volume set, originally 14 volumes,15th was issued later. All volumes numbered 427 of and edition of 940. First volume is signed by George Santayana. All volumes have cream-cloth spines with printed spine labels and navy paper over boards with a gilt-stamped image of Triton on front board, top edges are gilt, fore-edges are deckled. Some of the spine labels are stained/chipped, some staining/toning on cloth. Most volumes still have their glassine jackets, many of them have tears, some more severe than others. 15 volumes in 7 slipcases that have some staining and light wear at edges and corners.
