Size: 17 1/4″ x 13 1/4″. Text body is clean, and free from previous owner annotation, underlining and highlighting. Complete with 20 clean photogravure plates that represent Strand’s travels through Mexico in the early 1930’s and a brief introduction to the work by Leo Hurwitz. The folio sheets are housed in plain paper wraps and ensconced in a cloth and paper chemise within a paper-covered slipcase. This work is number 35 of a limited edition of 1,000 and is signed by Paul Strand. Paper wraps have minor damage to bottom left corner and edge. Cloth spine of hardcover chemise is lightly stained.
