This book is basically a practical guide to Chinese brush painting. “If oil painting may be compared to fiction and watercolor to an essay, then Chinese painting is poetry. Chinese painting utilizes few strokes to convey deep emotion. It uses little to express much. The beautiful rhythm of line, form and shadow is used to represent the soul of the painter. The song of the soul is played out harmoniously on the surface of the paper.” Quantity Available: 1. Shipped Weight: 2 lbs 12 oz. Category: Art & Design; Inventory No: 009111.
