Brown morocco leather over boards, gilt lettering on spine, 5 raised bands, top edge gilt, pp. viii, 112, extra-illustrated with 74 plates, including watercolors of Mrs. Clive in various roles, and portraits of many of her contemporaries including: Colley Cibber, Mrs. Cibber, J. P. Kemple, Lewes, Wilks, Barton Booth, Fielding, etc., as well as several prints of various theatres including Covent Garden and Drury Lane.
