Size: 10 1/4″ x 7″. Text body is clean, and free from previous owner annotation, underlining and highlighting. Gilt-stamped and decorated brown cloth over boards, all edges gilt, marbled end papers, includes a selection of color plates and black and white images. This is a salesman’s sample which includes three variations of the spine adhered to end papers, as well as another sample of the front board design on the front paste-down. The title page advertises the book as the “Thirtieth Thousand – Revised and Enlarged”. Wear at extremities, some staining on text block edges, otherwise very good. Quantity Available: 0.
