Size: 12″ x 9 1/2″. Text body is clean, and free from previous owner annotation, underlining and highlighting. Elaborately gilt-stamped black leather over boards, 5 raised bands, all edges gilt, patterned end papers, inner dentelles, pp. (xxx), 930, includes three original albumen photographs, two of which are portraits of Lincoln from engravings, illustrated with two additional plates. Spine title: Tributes of the Nations to Abraham Lincoln. Originally had the name of the owner in gilt on front board, has since been crudely scratched out, corners and spine ends bumped and lightly worn, some rubbing to covers and gilt, a few scattered instances of soil on interior, end papers at hinges worn, though hinges remain strong.
