Description: We offer a scarce and imposing cast iron doorstop in the form of Columbia, the Goddess-like personification of the United States of America. She stands 16 ½” tall and weighs a hefty 22 pounds. A polychrome version of Columbia is pictured on page 52 of Jeanne Bertoia’s “Doorstops Identification & Values”. Item #DA00229.

Condition: The doorstop was likely sandblasted and finished with stove polish. The surface of the iron remains in good condition.
