Gilt-stamped green cloth over boards, patterned end papers, 294 pages, Appendix, includes some illustrations. Daniel O’Connell (1775-1847) was an Irish political leader that championed Catholic emancipation, chiefly the right for Catholics to sit in Parliament. Corners and spine ends bumped and lightly worn, covers rubbed, text block stained, front hinge cracked, though the board and all pages are still attached, some scattered spots, overall very good.
