Size: Small Octavo. Text body is clean, and free from previous owner annotation, underlining and highlighting. Gilt-stamped red morocco leather over boards, edges gilt, inner dentelles, 239 pages, illustrated with engravings by L. Clennell from drawings by T. Stothard, has a fore-edge painting that is identified as “Roundele House” on a preliminary page in pencil, the artist is unknown. “Taylor & Hessey Booksellers London” stamped in gilt on fore-edges of boards.
