Size: 10 3/4″ x 8 1/4″. 3-volume set (complete). Text body is clean, and free from previous owner annotation, underlining and highlighting. Three volumes in full gilt-stamped crushed red morocco, five raised bands, top edges gilt, other edges deckled, gilt inner dentelles, marbled end papers, printed on hand-made paper at the Chiswick Press. This set is numbered 455 of an edition of five hundred twenty five, and is signed by Rudyard Kipling. All three volumes’ spines are sun faded, there is light wear at corners and spine ends, staining to top edges of text blocks. Housed in a red cloth slip case that has wear at corners.
