Gilt-stamped black leather over boards, all edges gilt, silk moire end papers, frontispiece by Richard Sparks, 265 pages, includes unused Easton Press bookplate and an insert about the book. Menander (c. 342-290 BC) was a Greek playwright who wrote 108 comedies and took the prize at the Lenaia festival eight times.
