Description: This original early 20th century photograph shows the busy interior of Gero Upholstery, which, according to a pencil note on the verso, was located on River Street in Saranac Lake, New York. The image shows a group of men and women looking at the camera, most with serious expressions, though one young lady behind a sewing machine has a sunny smile. Fabric is stacked on shelves or scattered over work surfaces, scraps on the floor.
Photo measures: 5″ x 7″. On a ruled mount that measures: 8″ x 10″. Item #P00284
Condition: Corners of the mount are bumped, otherwise very good condition.
