Size: 10 3/4″ x 7 3/4″. 5-volume set (complete). Text body is clean, and free from previous owner annotation, underlining and highlighting. Five volumes, four of them (Vols I, II, IV, V) are bound in half leather and marbled paper over boards with top edges gilt, Vol. III is bound in full leather with all edges gilt. Spines of all five volumes match with the gilt lettering and decoration. Volumes I-IV have the history “From its First Settlement to the Year 1892”. Volume V, published in 1896, includes: “From its First Settlement to the Year 1896”. Wear at extremities, all five volumes have the bookplate of George H.
