Description: In Earl’s whimsical style, this lovable black and white pig is painted on a cut-out piece of 1/2″ plywood. His signature “Earl” and a copyright symbol are at the lower right.
Earl used whatever he could find to paint on… plywood, tabletops, side of a barn. His output was prodigious… setting up his studio/gallery on the sidewalks or parking lots of Hudson, NY.
Earl King Swanigan (1964-2019) was born in Mississippi and migrated north to pursue a life of art. A mission he accomplished… an untrained artist producing outsider art… sometimes political, sometimes humorous, sometimes shocking… always engaging.
Approximately 16″ x 27″. Item #FA00485
