Size: Folio. 252 pages. Text body is clean, and free from previous owner annotation, underlining and highlighting. Binding is tight, covers and spine fully intact. Previous owner’s book-plate laid in on front end paper. All edges gilt in good condition. Rebound in burgundy buckram with original gold stamped cloth affixed on front cover, extensively illustrated, includes a state history, history of Montgomery & Fulton counties, as well as biographies. Lightly bumped at head of spine and top corners, pages toned, some pages starting to pull away from binding, damp stain along top margin of pages which generally does not affect illustrations are text, but one portrait page has a large damp stain that extends almost to the portrait itself.
