Binding is tight, covers and spine fully intact, bar chips to top and/or bottom section of spine. Previous owner’s name in ink on front free end paper. Brown gilt stamped leather over boards, (vi), 240 pages, Appendix, Index. Covers worn, and scratched, corners bumped and worn, large chip at head of spine, back cover cracked at foot of spine, still attached, spine very worn, gilt rubbed, text block soiled, end papers soiled, front paste down peeling, hinge cracked at front fly leaf, still attached, small stain on pages 175-176 that affects a few words, still readable, small random stains throughout, top corners of pages 33, 35 torn away, not affecting text, bottom corners of several pages in rear are bent/folded, not affecting text.
