Binding is tight. “From the last London Edition.” Leather spine and marbled paper over boards, 214 pages, 2 pages advertisements. Wear along all edges, corners, spine and spine ends, covers scuffed, leather on spine worn and cracked along edge of spine, foxing throughout book, but heavier near beginning and light last 2/3 thirds. Name card on front end paper of Dr. Charles W. Pilgrim, former New York State Commissioner of Mental Health in the early 1900’s, and the person for whom the Pilgrim State Hospital (a psychiatric hospital, the largest hospital of any type in the world) was named.
