Description: This superb impression of Cheffetz’s wood engraving, “Deserted Farm,” was published by Associated American Artists, c. 1950, in an edition of 250. It is signed in graphite lower right: “Asa Cheffetz”.

Asa Cheffetz (1897-1965) was a wood engraver whose studio was in Springfield, MA. He was a member of the National Academy and his works are in the collections of numerous prestigious art institutions, including: Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts, Art Institute of Chicago, Baltimore Museum of Art, etc.

Image size: 5 1/2″ x 8 7/8″ on a 10 1/2″ x 13″ sheet of paper. Matted and framed to: 12″ x 15 1/2″. Item #PR00646

Condition: Mounting tape spots at upper corners, otherwise fine condition.
