Description: These four original photographs show two exterior and two interior views of a Watervliet, New York boat building workshop. In one of the photos, three men stand around two boats, one of which is named Orange Blossom. In another, wooden planks are strewn about a large, many-windowed room and more men can be seen at work on various boats. Carved into the stone door header is: “Watervliet Mill No. 3 1872”.
The photos measure 7 5/8″ x 9 3/8″ and were apparently part of a bound volume documenting the business. They are adhered in a row to a 38 3/4″ length of linen which is hole-punched at the edge. Item #P00185
Condition: Staining on back, photos are in very good condition.
