Description: This cheerful black and white photograph of a grinning, bespectacled Wodehouse holding a dachshund is inscribed “Best wishes P. G. Wodehouse” in black ink. The photo is a real-photo postcard with a place to put a message and mailing address on the verso.

Sir Pelham Grenville Wodehouse (1881-1975), the British author, was a prolific writer, publishing more than ninety books, forty plays and two hundred short stories. He is most remembered for his humorous characters like Bertie Wooster and his valet Jeeves.
