From the Preface: “In giving to the public, and especially to those who have my ‘Burgoyne’s Campaign and St. Leger’s Expedition’, a few words are, perhaps, necessary to explain the purpose of the present work. During my researches while engaged upon that particular episode of our Revolutionary history, I came across a number of quaint ballads related to that campaign par excellence, and It occurred to me that my subscribers to ‘Burgoyne’s Campaign’ would gladly welcome an addenda, so to speak, of that work.” Quantity Available: 1.
