William Gropper (1897-1977), printmaker, painter, cartoonist, is best known for his political art which appeared in numerous left-leaning publications including: “The New Masses,” “The Worker,” “The Revolutionary Age,” etc. He was elected to the National Academy of Design in 1974.
Condition: Mount has one bumped corner, photo is in excellent condition.
