Written on a 3 ½” x 4 ½” remnant of a sheet of letterhead bearing the address: “35 A St. George’s Road. West Hampstead, N.W. 6”. Item #A01944
Hans Kindler (1892-1949) was a Dutch American cellist/conductor. He joined the Philadelphia Orchestra in 1914 and was appointed its first cellist by conductor Leopold Stokowski. He founded the National Symphony Orchestra in Washington, D.C. in 1930.
Condition: Upper half of an autograph letter signed. Signed sentiment in very good condition.
