Description: Classic Hollywood actress Carole Landis (1919-1948) neatly inscribed and signed this portrait photograph in which she gazes with a mesmerizing stare at the viewer. The blue ink inscription reads: “To John: Sincere best wishes, Carole Landis”.
Landis made her film debut as an extra in A Star is Born (1937) and worked in horse operas and appeared in bit parts until her breakout role as a cave girl in One Million B.C. (1940).
