Description: Albert Payson Terhune signed his name in full after the sentiment, “To the twin sisters / With every good wish, from / Albert Payson Terhune,” on a 2 ¼” x  3 ¾” card.

Terhune (1872-1942) was an American novelist and short-story writer known for his stories about dogs. He also bred prized collies on his estate, Sunnybank, in Wayne, New Jersey.
