Size: 14″ x 12 1/2″. Text body is clean, and free from previous owner annotation, underlining and highlighting. Bound in gilt-stamped blue leather by Arthur Hertzberg & Craftsmen, blue silk moire end papers, dedicated to Albert H. Wetten, a Chicago real estate broker. This book is one of only a few that were made and given to major contributors to the World’s Fair. 51 silver gelatin photos showing views of the Exposition during the day and at night, all hand-titled in graphite by the photographers. Spine has a few scuffs, a couple of small, very light, stains on the interior, generally in excellent condition.
