Description: This autograph album page is signed by four stars of the silver screen: Aldo Ray, Peter Ustinov, Bill Scully, and Frank Green. The page reads: “Della- Best wishes for happiness always Aldo Ray / Ditto, Della Peter Ustinov / ect. Bill Scully / also Frank Green”. On the right margin, in another hand, are the words: “Paramount Studios July 12, 1954 / Aldo Ray Peter Ustinov Bill Scully Frank Green”.
Aldo Ray (1926-1991) was nominated for a Golden Globe for his performance in Pat and Mike (1952), a film starring Spencer Tracy and Katharine Hepburn. With is large build and gruff voice, he was often cast in “tough guy” roles. Acclaimed filmmaker Quentin Tarantino has named Ray as an inspiration for some of his characters.
Peter Ustinov (1921-2004) won numerous awards during his life, including two Academy Awards for Best Supporting Actor for his roles in Spartacus (1960), and Topkapi (1964). He is also known for playing Hercule Poirot in six adaptations of Agatha Christie novels.
The signed paper has been glued down to a larger album page that measures: 4 1/2″ x 6″. Item #A01592
Condition: Six perforations at left margin, generally very good condition with four large, bold signatures.
