Description: American crooner and actor Harry Lillis “Bing” Crosby (1903-1977) energetically signed this album page at Paramount Studios on July 12, 1954. The date and place of the signature, as well as an identifying “Bing Crosby”, are written in another hand on the right margin of the album page.

The original 4″ x 4 1/2″ signed piece of paper has been glued to a larger, pink album page that measures: 4 1/2″ x 6″. The verso of the album page is signed by renowned American pianist Leon Fleisher (1928-2020). Item #A01584

Bing Crosby is perhaps best remembered for his performance in the movie White Christmas (1954), and of the song of the same name. He won the Academy Award for Best Actor for his role in Going My Way (1944) and was nominated for its sequel, The Bells of St. Mary (1945). He made over 70 films and recorded more than 1,600 songs. Crosby also was influential in the radio industry, becoming the first performer to prerecord his programs.

Condition: The glue has bled through the page leaving light stains, otherwise good condition with a large signature.
