Description: This fabulous album of photographs documents Kresge store #238 on Germantown Avenue (Philadelphia, PA) and its modernization. Included is a printed map of the street, a typed litany of the work completed (new bar fountain, new compressor type cooling system, new candy center square, etc.).

Twenty-two 8″ x 10″ photos of the interior and exterior, plus sixteen smaller format photos of neighboring buildings. They are “bound together” with two brass fasteners. Item #P00235

Condition: Lacks rear stiff wraps, front stiff wrap detached, a couple of the photos are detached. Generally the images are in very good condition.
