Description: Schwab, at the age of 35, became president of the Carnegie Steel Company. He went on to be the first president of the United States Steel Corporation. Later, as the leader of the Bethlehem Shipbuilding & Steel Company, he grew it to become the largest steel producer in the world.
In this typed letter signed he states in part: “…I have found my greatest assets in life have been integrity, loyalty, and personality; they were the outstanding useful qualifications, not only for success but also for happiness.”
