Description: American painter Henry Augustus Loop (1831-1895) sent this brief letter to William A. Baker, Esq. on November 28, 1866. The note reads: “Dear Sir With pleasure I send you what you request. Very truly yours Henry A. Loop.”
Henry A. Loop was a member of the National Academy of Design and several of his paintings belong to the National Academy’s collections. Other works by Loop can be found at Yale University, the Jay Heritage Center, and his John Quincy Adams Ward portrait hangs in the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

Condition: Paper loss at left margin, letter has been tipped to another piece of paper. Overall good condition with a neat, bold signature.
