Description: A fantastic silk ribbon worn during ceremonies in July 1858 marking the disinterment and removal of Monroe’s remains from New York to his native Virginia. The ribbon was lithographed by: “Hatch & Co. 29 William St. NY.”

Condition: Light soil, especially at the bottom 2″, some wrinkling, generally very good. Great graphics on a scarce ribbon for a president with few artifacts produced.
