Description: A wonderfully graphic original broadside touts the effectiveness of Warner’s Patent Curvelinear Sawing Machine. “It will cut O.G. pillars, Gothic and Roman window heads, chair stuffs, piano and melodeon legs, twisted stair rails…” Warner & Smith were based at No. 417 Washington Street, Boston. Noted at the bottom is the fact that one of these machines will be in operation at the 1855 Boston Inventors’ Exhibition.

Condition: Uneven losses at bottom edge which does not touch text, overall light mottled staining, verso has period ink identification… “Sawing Machine” which has bled through to recto. Even with all faults a great looking early broadside for a seemingly indispensable invention.
