Description: This original 1854 wall map was published by E. A. Balch of Troy, NY from surveys by A. E. Rogerson. The map is bordered by sixteen wonderful vignetted views, which include: Jones and Hitchcock’s Bell Foundry, Troy Female Seminary, Schrams Collegiate Institute (Sand Lake). Inset views show the streets of Troy, Lansingburgh, Berlin, Nassau, Greenbush, Schaghticoke, Hoosick Falls and Poestenkill.

42″ x 58″ plus original wood rollers top and bottom.

Condition: The linen-backed paper shows the standard yellowing of the varnish, scattered creasing and light soil, one small hole at the top roller, generally very good condition.
